Glucose Analytics reads your CGM data through Apple Health. First, ensure your CGM app (Dexcom, FreeStyle Libre, etc.) is connected to Apple Health and sharing glucose data. Then, when you open Glucose Analytics, grant permission to read from Apple Health when prompted.
Make sure that:
You can check Apple Health permissions in Settings > Privacy & Security > Health > Glucose Analytics.
Navigate to the Settings tab in the app and tap "Export Data". You can choose to export your meal logs, glucose readings, or both. The data will be saved as a CSV file that you can share or save to your preferred location.
Your data is stored locally on your iPhone and is included in your iCloud backup if you have iCloud Backup enabled. The app doesn't have its own cloud backup service to protect your privacy.
Currently, Glucose Analytics stores data locally on each device. Data doesn't sync between devices automatically. If you switch devices, you can export your data from the old device and import it on the new one.
Glucose Analytics works with any CGM that syncs to Apple Health, including:
